I’d Speak to Thee

I’d speak to thee of fantasy
I see no other ecstasy
Reality a rose with thorns
A bull in paw with lowered horns

Within my mind I search the stars
The furthest of the furthest far
I conjure grime into sublime
To con the fall of sands of time

I whittle on the wood of could
Selected from the would of should
And carve it to a grace of state
And eat upon this very plate

What would you, in circumspect
To catch horizons intersect
Flounder in the doldrums drain?
Or let yourself escape the pain

I do not claim the problems done
But God, I’m having so much fun.

and what a perspective, rounded blends of perfect circles you paint
glowing pink and immense...your a hemlock, brushing drops of happy thoughts, regardless of the rads behind or ahead...lifting air...climbing hugs

Thank you and good morning to ya

Top of the morning, to you Sir Tumbleweed!

I be in a state of ecstasy when thou speaketh of fantasy!

"Reality a rose with thorns"

~ 'Tis so true

"A bull in paw with lowered horns"

~ A vivid visual!

Within my mind I search the stars
The furthest of the furthest far

~ Never stop searching and reaching!

"I conjure grime into sublime"

~ A recipe for a happy life!

"To con the fall of sands of time"

~ I would like to be able to do the same!

"I whittle on the wood of could
Selected from the would of should
And carve it to a grace of state
And eat upon this very plate"

~ Only a poet with an ample amount of gray cells ~ and grace ~ could have written that!

"What would you, in circumspect
To catch horizons intersect
Flounder in the doldrums drain?
Or let yourself escape the pain"

~ I'm all for finding an escape route from the pain of those rose thorns!

"I do not claim the problems done
But God, I’m having so much fun."

~ and so am I, Dear friend! So am I! My life is such a magnificent rose, that I can handle the thorns that threaten to prick my happiness!

With lots of love and affection,
Your Earth Angel

you are a pleasure to read!

I don’t want the world to see me
cause I don’t think that they’d understand
When everything’s made to be broken I just want you to know who I am
