Come and taste my baked goods
~ They're fresh from the oven!
I use the best ingredients
And add a lot of lovin'!

Once you taste a cookie,
You will want two or three.
So grab yourself a handful
~ They're gifts to you from me!

My pies are simply scrumptious,
~ From pumpkin to boysenberry.
So cut yourself a slice or two,
~ Eat hearty and be merry!

My cakes are quite delicious,
Be they layered or angel's food.
They're sure to sate your palette,
And elevate your mood!

Come and taste my baked goods
~ They're fresh from the oven.
I use the best ingredients,
And add a lot of lovin'!

Ohhh lordy how hungry you've made, placing an order now....

I don’t want the world to see me
cause I don’t think that they’d understand
When everything’s made to be broken I just want you to know who I am

Linda,
Silly me, I thought there was a new baby! Baby cakes will do...

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

Larry ~

To be perfectly honest with you, my friend with devilish twinkling eyes, I have my moments when I think that a baby would be the best thing to have in the oven ~ so to speak! lol ~ But then those notions pass and I just enjoy the memories of raising the ones I already had!

Linda,
If I would have known this early, I would have grabbed a few before the toast I just finished off!  Nothing like homemade cookies from a mama's kitchen!  (I may not be able to eat the cookies right now, but could I lick the beaters?  Huh?)  A pleasure to read!

Missy ~

You too? I love to lick the beaters!

Are you sure you don't have any room in your tummy for some of my angel-baked cookies?

I'll save a big box-full for when that toast wears off!

Brilliantly written Linda, it reminded me of Tolkien, it is something the hobbits might have said as they went about a kitchen, for as everyone knows, hobbits love to eat..Thank you..well done..

I came to taste your baked goods
Ones made fresh from the oven
Maybe a peanut butter cookie or two
No maybe three ... yes, three dozen

Talk about a delecious read.  Just in time for my second pot of coffee this morning too.

I fear I may be bragging, but my homemade peanut butter cookies are to die for! They are moist and I add chopped fresh peanuts and save one for the top of each cookie!

Three dozen are in the makings for you! Put another pot of coffee on!

With love from EA's kitchen,
Linda

Do I dare read this delightful treat to my Macy girl? But then I fear she will want to bake goodies today...and it seems lately I my baking skills leave something to be desired.

Cute write, EA.

Where do you live?  I'm on my way over!  Got to get some of that pie.  Man, you make that sound good.  Well written, too.  I could almost smell the cookies and pies baking.  Well done!  Now I need to go eat something.  Thanks.
