When in times of trouble, My eyes look to the skies, ~ To the wide open spaces Where the proud eagle flies. I rise above the mundane And soar among the clouds, Leaving all my problems, ~ Escaping all the crowds. Gliding on the thermals, I'm flying high and free, With the sun's warming rays, Beaming down on me. I can see forever, Across skies, land, and seas. I drift on gentle breezes And sail away with ease. When in times of trouble, My eyes look to the skies, To the wide open spaces Where the proud eagle flies. |
