Rain
Arrangement and Score
By Kelly Atwell and Robert Rilling

I’ve spent endless years.. searchin’ for dreams of my soul..
and in all that time, I’ve let a lot of cherished things go..

And many slip from the caverns of my mind..
But when I think of the ones of you, it makes me cry..

So I cry in the rain, see it wash away my pain..

I was told I am the product of the life I’ve led..
though you’re the only vision I’m seein’ my head..
And you’re every shining star, smilin’ down on me tonight,
and the choices that I’ve made, have let me down inside..

So I cry in the rain, see it wash away my pain..
See it wash it away..

You’re every shining star, smilin’ down on me tonight,
to know that you are happy, it’s no surprise,
to see that all this time was not in vain..
Though I cry in the rain, see it wash away my pain..

I'd sure like to hear the music behind these words -- I take it these are lyrics -- if they're not, they sure are lyrical.

I agree with those who would enjoy hearing the  music with these intriguing words.  KJ

The yawn of a dawn will hasten the light
