Sitting in my rocking chair, I rock away for ages ~ Pondering the ways of life And the wisdom of the sages. As questions go unanswered, I while away the hours, Just contemplating my navel And gazing at the flowers. While in this reflective mode, I see through open eyes. I look beyond the obvious And peel away the guise. Nothing is as it seems, ~ There's more than meets the eye! I look for hidden meanings As the world goes spinning by. So, on and on ~ and on I rock, Just going nowhere fast. Heading for my future And leaving all my past. [This message has been edited by Earth Angel (09-11-2004 02:02 AM).] |
