My Collection of Bad Dreams Why do you come back into my life acting as if you were never gone? Why do you act like we had something special when what we had was long gone? You never gave that much to me, you made me do all of the work. You did as little as possible, you were an inconsiderate jerk. On good days you were adorable, but those were far and few inbetween, on bad days you were deplorable, you were undesirable and mean. I'm afraid you were not the woman of my dreams but you did succeed in making a sizeable contribution to my collection of bad dreams. JamesLee September06 2004 |

I'm smiling because your poem made me think of an old cliche' - "bad pennies" just keep returning - that was it. |

I have to say, although by no means intending to make light of your poem, that a bad dream is a lot better than a recurring nightmare. But well said - we do collect lots of bad dreams along the way. Perhaps it's in our nature to "collect" like stamps, coins, etc. and then one day we just give it all away. |

So why don't the good ones come back? I don't know, sigh. I like the way you say this straight out. Nan (Pilgrim variety) |

I think we may have shared the same bad dreams. I hope good ones come to you soon. quatro |
