She cries herself to sleep at night and wakes at the break of day Gets ready for work and feeds the kids and then she's on her way She does what she can to make ends meat and keep her sanity intact She wonders where he's at tonight and prays he's coming back And she is strong and proud not much gets her down And she is faithful and true She keeps both feet on the ground She's sacrificed the ultimate Bound by love and hope Her man is on the front lines fighting to come home She's the wife of a military man Caught in the middle of a war She hopes that one day will soon end She makes sure her kids are protected As she cries herself to sleep she does it all, she'll never fall She's a wonder to you and me Sometimes with all the goings on these people are forgotten in the shuffle and my heart goes out to them sim0riah |
