September sighs
Unfriendly skies
Perhaps not great poetic form
But the sad photo aftermath
of the vicious storm~

*There will be more photos to come*

I am speechless Marge..I feel terrible about the destruction.
Thankfully you and your family came out unhurt!
This is truly Mother Nature in all her fury!
You rest...and we'll keep you in our prayers.

Marge,
It's a shame that so much devastation has been done, but I suppose there is a bright way of looking at it.  Although we appreciated the beauty around us, we appreciate it even more, knowing how fragile it is.  The nice thing about the devastation is that new trees can be planted, gaining more sunlight from were the others have fallen.  During the darkest times in my life, my mother insisted I help her plant seedlings.  Each year I watched the seedlings grow, realizing they were thriving and I would, too.  Now they are full grown, and an inspiration.

Marge, I'm only glad you're okay.  Trees can grow again.  It would be too hard to grow another poet.

What a price to pay for living in Paradise. After all the beauty of magical flowers you use to send, to this devastation, is so sad.
I have a lot of friend in Fl. that I no longer hear from because, (I suppose) they have not gotten their computers to work yet. I'm so sorry to hear about a vision of beauty to be so distorted. But, worry not and take this one moment at a time. You will again see the flowers bloom and the sun will shine again soon.
Love and peace, Maggie ((~.~))

How disheartening! I can only imagine the horror of actually experiencing the hurricane's fury.

The damage to your brother's home was a double whammy! Yes, the bottom line is that you and your loved one's survived the raging elements, but it still must break your heart to see what lie in the wake of such devasting winds.

My thoughts are with you and yours.

Loving hugs,
EO

Dear Marge:  These photos really have impact!  When you know someone you really care about is taking the pictures, it puts a whole different slant on them! I'm so sorry for what you have gone through and will continue to do so.  It takes a long time to recover from something like this and you cetrtainly never forget!  Just so thankful you and yours are all okay, physically! God Bless!

The winds of nature can turn huge tree making them seem like a delicate match stick or turn a little creek into raging fury. A truck turning into a little toy to be tossed to and fro.
One year here in Ohio we had tornado's flying in all directions 4 or 5. All I could do was stand and tremble not knowing which way to go.
When the weather kicks up her heels she sure can be nasty.
So glad you and yours are safe.
Love and Bunches of hugs and kisses coming your way.
Love Bonnie J.

Dear Marge, you know my heart was with you while Francis turned your garden up side down.
Trees will grow again, but people won't.
I'm so glad you all came through safe.

Sending over many hugs dear friend.

Dearest Marge,

The photos of the devastation made a big impact on me. I can't tell you how very frightened I was for you, your family, and friends. Thank God you are alright. I wish I were able to come help you clean up the mess.

Lots of love,
Patricia

Marge, God's speed with the cleanup.  It is always sad to see trees downed, but nature has its own way and reasons.  Take care and stay safe, dear one.   .....jo

It's very sad when nature is so destructive, but we have to try and remember, she is a woman constantly renewing herself....and in that, beauty will always be.

With that said, Marge, I'm so sorry things got so messed up there for you....there is really nothing I can say to comfort you, but I was trying... I am just so glad you and yours are safe...

Dear Marge

Those photos send a 'clear message' to us all.  How quickly nature can turn on us!  It will take some time to get over the trauma of Hurricane Frances widespread destruction to Florida.  You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
