The sea crashed onto the rocky shore, he stood and looked to the horizon, dreaming. Wind blew, tousling his hair, blasting his face. Teeth like waves rose and beckoned him forth, but firmly he stood his ground''you will not have me yet'', he thought. Plunging his hands deeper into his warm pockets, he drew all of his love up inside his heart and defied the elements. Shaking his fist at the open bitter cold waves, he cried out ''i still love, your coldness will never take away my love''. For inside he knew that he possesed the greatest of love and nobody would have it, unless worthy to recieve it. Staring from his lonely isle, he scoured the horizon for ships. waiting, holding, love of deep deep passion. Dark brought with it stars and moon, deep vastness,he allowed it all into his heart, and swallowed the universe. Stars, moon and sea melted, joined forces and revolved the world, his world of love, but tightly he held his love for evermore. The supreme happiness in life is the conviction that we are loved. Victor Hugo. |
