It’s in the pot
Problem is . . .
What is not-

In it that is.

There’s some spice
Not certain what
Know it’s nice . . .
But I forgot-

To add it.

Think I need
A new direction
A recipe . . .
Of delectation-

Wish I had it.

But as for now
I’ll keep on cookin’
All the time . . .
I’ll keep on lookin’

Until I find it.

Liked the poem
With soup it doesn’t matter much the spices, if you forget them all you’ll still have hot water for tea. Cooking can be alright if you don’t worry too much about the details.

Perhaps....but I don't think much is missing
from your broth....Now, mine on the other
hand, (hear the slurp)....tasting it...
You have no idea how much is missing....
