A gesture, a life, more intensely frail then can be perceived Mysterious…the small hands of sorrow…grief Leading you to the wall of the cliff Over a crumpling whirlpool into the pit Are we but a solitary winter freezing on a damp rock? When we tear out the throat of someone we love? I cover my ears so not to hear the vortex scream Does every choice I make affect such hybrid things? Yes….as I am connected to each and every child To Scotland, to New York, and to Israel I am the squall which destroys innocence I am the noose around my dark skinned brother’s neck The war which old fat men sends to our boys The corporation which profits largely from lies I am the destroyer, love’s worship alone can know The time of sadness when I said to my child…no I am the extreme right or left, afraid to unite Fighting for a party instead of what’s right The harsh pointing words which edge a glow The guilt of the hurt I cause which always looks down The circle of a large ring broken by the crackling Of mindless shame…words with fingers frozen We are all so connected…so tenderly one part of it all Do we fully understand, the impact we cause? Do we ever think before we choose? Or is our first instinctive thought on only ourselves? |

LeeJ Some hard questions you ask "The circle of a large ring broken by the crackling Of mindless shame…words with fingers frozen We are all so connected…so tenderly one part of it all Do we fully understand, the impact we cause?" and answer. Beautiful pondering, lady! |

LeeJ Good question and about half true. If you live long enough you'll regret almost everything and if not you''ll reget nothing. You are a wonder. |

Mankind is interconnected Each man, woman and child And the loss of any is a loss to all, Unfortunately too much true here, But our leaders are not the fat cats of the past, But thinner and more fit, After all they have to keep up appearances. Corporations are only interested in profit, And there’s no profit in the surplus of life. Enjoyed the read and thoughts Gloom |

(tears fall down my cheeks) This reminds me of the punchline from the new Switchfoot song "Ammunition": "We are the fuse and the ammunition!" (sad sigh) That is so very true, and I hate to think we have to "vote for the lesser of two evils" here. I don't like judging anyone as evil, rather as that they are wronged. I myself am voting for Kerry because I understand how the Nader factor could give Bush another election, and though I respect Nader very much, first and foremost I have to help regime change at home before I can give the Greens full attention! (sigh) I hate having to act this way as we need to break the habit and stop torturing ourselves in voting for candidates like these, and I truly feel the frustration, God Bless You, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Lee, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton "You'll find something that's enough to keep you But if the bright lights don't receive you You should turn yourself around and come back home" MB20 |

The guilt of the hurt I cause which always looks down "The circle of a large ring broken by the crackling Of mindless shame…words with fingers frozen We are all so connected…so tenderly one part of it all Do we fully understand, the impact we cause? Do we ever think before we choose? Or is our first instinctive thought on only ourselves?" I like that "we" thing....you are wise....doubly wise. We should read you more than we have done, and we will. ~~(¸¸¸¸ºº> ~~(¸¸¸¸ºº> ~~(¸¸ ¸¸ºº> ~~~(¸¸ER¸¸ºº> |
