My thoughts wander,
Once again,
Towards you…

And I can see you perfectly in my mind.

Laying there in front of the TV,
Staring blankly into space.

I like to wonder,
What thoughts are racing through your head?
Are they of me?
Are they of your present…situation?
Or are they of something slightly more…tragic?
They’re right behind your eyes,
But I can’t see them.
You don’t let me in.

You blink,
And come out of your daze.
You resume watching the show.

The show of me,
Trying to figure you out.
