Of the unborn about to be delivered
where parents know the child's sex
soft tissue is touched to conceive
how on earth will the world receive..

is it on the plan for all ages?
that a newer version will rock the arc
is it after the cardinal stages?
a new being is heard and then accepted...

but reception follows a callous plan
when not all are keen and eager parents
as if the bearer knows not what life means
the life that returns on cyclical strings...

industrial life spans make lives expedient
the unborn child knows not of parental blues
mills turned sweat shops became ingredients
to a recipe dictated by ancestral dues..

newer version or latest model runs its course
as humanity weaves ways further from its source
knowledge of the child's sex sets a program
part of the greater plan, set in hexagrams...

Yes, all newborn life should be equally cherished, no matter the sex. And each should be free to follow his/her own chosen  pathway, irregardless of sex.
A thoughtful write, Martin.

one can't help but wonder on what you ponder, what will be the ultimate order

Martin,
So tragic and true. It should not be!

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

Midnight,

Apparently that's not reality though. A lot of societies around the world are seeing or have recently witnessed happenings abolished here decades ago...we have a lot of work to do to create change.
