9-1-1, a man is shot, In late July it sure is hot, It seems he woke in his own bed, And beside him felt a curly head, The only problem was the hair, Of his wife was straight and fair, It caused a start, he leapt from bed, In a state of shock it could be said, He ran into the living room, And got his gun, and then kaboom! The cops were trying to sort things out, Where is your wife, is she about? He replied, she’s gone away, To her mother’s, for just a day, The police then asked, who is this guy, That you shot, do you know why? The man replied, I have no clue, Why he was there, I wish I knew, It turns out the wound was small, The man passed out from booze, that’s all, They shook and shook then sat him up, Had him drink coffee from a cup, Why were you here, in this man’s bed? He looked bewildered, and then he said, All I know is I went drinking, And then drove home, and I was thinking, His house was mine so in I came, Got into to bed with what’s his name, I was sound asleep, and then kaboom! And I got shot, I do presume, I guess the moral if there’s any, Is that I had one shot too many. Based on an incident we had happen a few years back with a tad of poetic license. |

Tim -- Unbelievable! And you wrote it so well; and if it weren't true, I would laugh. No, sorry, I can't help myself .....jo |

Isn't it funny that some of the funniest stories surface from the truth? Great job and loved the moral of the story too |

Susan Happiness isn't something that happens to you, it's created from within you. Joy is a state of mind. |
