How high can a seagull fly.
It matters not how hard I try,
I simply cannot find the answer
as to how high,
a seagull might fly.
So I am resigned to the fact
that it’s one of those days
when the brain does not work,
so, all else I have decided to shirk.
I am not even going to iron my shirt.
And definitely, am not going to work.

As high as a mind can fly
a seagull inhabits the sky
at ease on the currents of air
and reliant on mystical care
to return its magnificent soul
back to the place called home.

“Touch me, baby, touch me”
and there is no more peace
for one amongst the clouds
and not down on the ground
instilling new traditions
for future generations
to follow faithfully
into infinity.

And a seagull flies the sky
in spite of what’s inside
and a mind cries at night
behind tingling eyes.

Honeybunch, thank you taking the time to read, interesting philosophical point of view. However I an still trying to find out how high a seagull can fly. Stupid as it may sound.

tp - stretch your mind and then you'll know how high a seagull flies but if you try to measure miles ... you may just die with trying.

Honeybunch, I tried that once, heaven wouldn't have me and hell was full so they sent me back.

tp - Because, you see, your work's not done!  You still don't know how high a seagull flies which means, of course, earth's stuck with you for still some time to come.  Happy measuring!

LOL, I'd fly along and measure for you, but my feathers are getting too tired for high flights these days.
  Enjoyed the grin.
