Down Pouring

the rain rolls
and the only thunder
is between us
I wish I could
turn the page
to where misery
was something
you couldn’t find
but how can I grant
you something
I do not even have
myself

just some words cut out
from the diary of my heart

Ow, this hurts all the way to the middle....a feeling I know only too well.

Short and emotionally packed.  Wish you not a page, but a book of pages

to where misery
was something
you couldn’t find

powerfully said, achingly powerful...leaving me speechless, for the most part

Whether on the shoal or on the shore,
I'll seek the lighthouse evermore.

Turning the page can be the hardest thing to do.

You say so much in so few words, and tug at my heart every time.

Nicely, Helen~

Perfectly said in so few words. I can relate to this.

The clouds never expect it when it rains, but the sea, changes colour, but the sea, does not change.
