Between the Lines

comes that slow snake-like crawl
of pain...weaving its way
inside my head
wishing to ruin
yet another day

explanations hard to find
when there are too many reasons
behind the old, the new,
the present emotions, too
wondering what to do
to remove that feeling
of doom that seems to show up
as partner to the sun

matters not what comes my way
the tightness still resists
and the day becomes a waste
and only the night becomes
my safe haven

M,
Sounds like a migraine to me! And still you carry on. Peace & courage dear friend.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.
