Tender good bye summer if I didn’t say that I wouldn’t miss you it would be such a lie but I was not who you wanted me to be and past breezes have touched too deeply beneath this skin even when I was the only one that felt it I have known your warmth and it taught me, after it there is such an echo of cold winter calls me and I must go so what I can feel again after it is tender just some words cut out |
