In the long months, fires dance in Xanadu a burning arch of pain the greater unseen stillness in midwinter mornings its sweet voice strides across tears in a sea of night seasons rise and fall witness to the silent war let me bleed with you beneath the trees -- naked in their sleeping Such beauty that speaks so softly weeping with passion under stars I sleep cradled in my own arms of sorrow orchids grow roses with thorns between the two is the void the other vision is sky dark with desire {fragrance of some familiar morning, motion of breathing, the shape of old waves} if wind had knowledge of edges my dreams could walk over dark arches and cold stone this world is not quiet tonight every breath every movement will sink beneath the scarlet waves their fate to keep cast into stillness inward press of space It's midnight, it always feels like midnight, it crawls deep inside twisting my emotions I trace the blue trickle of tears with lonely fingers weaving the black from eye to mouth I wanted to enter that world that place above s p r e a d i n g s k y to look down and over the lights of city in shades of hollow along the gray there is no color- -no color left my dreams underwater between horizons - The wind is colder tonight filling the air with it's harsh reminders of how long winter will be I've tried so hard to tell myself that you're gone though you're still with me |

oh dear Lord L~ This breathes of an unending ache.... your words are like petals that fall softly upon our ears.... floating with only the grace that you can bestow upon us.... I have missed you dear sister of my heart.... Sometimes, I do not have the words to do your writing justice... this is one of those times... gawd......... |

Begging the sun, for a spring thaw unlike any other. Summer will be splendid, still. I love. If I were to touch you, would you bleed a velvet river, running miracles through the sodden ground? --Moi |
