Servile I’ve reached the specter of servile That lies beyond a mental pill Where alter ego grows in flow Fed by the wind that does not know. Entrapped in the human flower Grasping for its sense of power Hurling towards my pace of goal Chasing manna for my soul Like water washing beds of stones Or flesh that covers up our bones Rings with passing of the moon And hides the shadows of high noon Wondering in the caverns core While painting walls of metaphor We meet the reaper and his sweep And leave our dust for change in keep It is the process not the store That makes the path of evermore |

Process, process, process. Reminds me of some old comp sayings... if you put garbage in, you get garbage back... so keep to the straight and narrow, keep it clean, and you end up with a surprised mom.    |
