Butterfly bracelets
and daisy chains
feather fine grass
and lazy bird planes

Red rover ran over
because Mother said he could
Tag - you're it!
Rememberance of childhood

sigh - oh sweet summers of innocence

Popsicle paradise
and double dutch jump
bazooka balloons
and bicycle pumps

Blue hued cool
and beach party sun
Tag - you're it!
Recollections come

sigh - oh sweet summers of innocence

sigh . . .

and good memories as well...kick the tin can, hide and seek, sandboxes and little bo peep...football and baseball, rides at Dorney Park...the swimming pool and scary stories in the dark...riding bike, playing hop scotch & skates, licking the beaters after mom mixed those cakes...

smiles and hugs

Oh yeah, licking the beaters - that was before we knew about eggs and salmanilla   I loved licking the beaters.

Thanks Lee

I will not share my beaters for all the
beaters in the world, particularly if it
is vanilla flavored cake mix...or perhaps
oatmeal cookie mix...or...I could go on
and on...Man, it was good.  You rattled
the cobwebs a little with this cute one.

Enjoyed it muchly...perhaps another touch
of melancholy?  Join the growing crowd,
but leave tools in closet!!

Thank you Eric.

Barry, Didn't you're mama tell you you had to share?

I had a great childhood.  I'm glad I could rattle some happy memories for others as well.

Hugs - all
