No Doubt

Can this love of ours be real
Or is it just a fantasy
A nursery rhyme, a fairy tale
Whose story ends in travesty

Are you a knight, are you my knight
Straight out of tales like Camelot
Or is this all some writer’s ruse
To add a twist into his plot

Who is the one who staged my life
Its romance and its tragedy
And cursed poets with gift of rhyme
To pen it for the world to see

Can this be real, can you be real
My frightened breath escapes in wisps
You turn, your answer ever clear
You kiss the doubt right from my lips
