Yes, yes, life is good when the grass starts to green and the trees grow new leaves but as I stand amongst the greening and the changing of a season the wind blows my reason for all and everything from here to next door as if it was called or hastened away by impatient spring. And I listen to the chatter of birds building nests in pretence of permanence while summer waits to desecrate the innocence of soul forced to burn and suffer until autumn throws to ground the dead and dying remnants of what once was beautiful. Soon autumn turns to winter and yes, yes, life is good when we know instinctively repetition has to flow until we’re called away. Spring’s growth of daffodils, summer’s pretty butterflies, and autumn’s falling leaves, lie as dead in winter’s hold till opened is the porthole to everything combined. And waiting round the corner of everything combined is the nest designed and built with thought patterns of the past. The nest of permanence; how misaligned the walls and corners are when twigs of love are overlooked down here on the ground! |

Helen Even moods and love move in time with the seasons...a time to build and a time to break down. Loved your thoughts in this, my friend! |

Thank you Dixie, Martie, and Eric. I guess we're not meant to truly know what lies beyond the seasons but I'm inclined to think we're presently building our nests and I, for one, am choosing my twigs most carefully. |
