fog lady in boots
low cut gown again
with the see thru showing

out of focus
temptation
no adjustments

except in the dreams
and frustration
when split seconds

don't last long enough
to satisfy
but long enough

to birth addiction

I love the fog - looking forward to it come fall, when it settles over the landscape in its misty drape and the world transcends into otherworldliness.  Enjoyed this --

DarkStranger~
This is as wonderful a penning as I've seen~
The doormat title led me in and I was held suspended in your thoughts~

this reminded me of having a liking
towards something quite out of reach, almost within your grasp, as well as
the desire to be one with the night,
the fog . . . the unknown . . .
