my toes are cold,
and it's raining outside.

i'm living vicariously through romantic comedies,
is that so wrong?

i wish someone would chase me through a crowded street,
and tell me they love me.

i wish someone would stand in the pouring rain with me,
and tell me i'm the most beautiful girl in the world.

it's funny how some people watch movies to brighten up their moods,
but only come out of it feeling more alone than ever.

and i feel alone.

i wish someone would look at me like they need me,
and mean it.

Yes, I can relate to what you've written.  People are just too busy these days getting and achieving and most times overlook the really important things in life.  They perhaps don't mean to but it happens.

I totally understand what you mean here... I can come out from the cinema, all dreamy and sweet for a moment, then when reality sets in, I'll get all blue... This is a rather torturous vicious cycle... Are there such romantic people in real life?? Are the characters in those romantic comedies REAL? *sigh*
