Love, you flutter my soul as lungs ache feverishly to drench you softly with my mind’s caress...my devotion....The heavens....I leave to you. For her, he wrote... Oh give to me the drench of dawn the windblown trees of love in bloom The tender eyes of morning’s fawn, a warming fire to bright one’s room. Oh leave to me the tethered sail beyond the lee of windward shore. The morning brew before the mail, a simple thought of one’s adore. As love does leave the smattering of hearts engulfed in lover’s fire A journey’s walk shall ever sing upon the pluck of lover’s lyre. And as a shadow lies the sill before the door does softly close. I say to you, I will, I will Is you my love, my eyes have chose. For beauty lies within my fair amongst the garden’s roses red. And there I’ll lie to brush one’s hair till dawn leaves quietly my stead. Sealed....the envelope lay quietly upon the mantle. Her name delicately penned upon...awaiting her eyes....as a porch swing swung lazily and night briefly kissed the moon’s soft song, beyond the window’s sill... You know, don't you, Poet... that this is a love that could go on, well, for a lifetime... boy, are you carving your work out for yourself, or what? |

Ah, I've been gone and now I see I shall have to catch up on that which has passed me by. This is most lovely, dear Sir. Susan Happiness isn't something that happens to you, it's created from within you. Joy is a state of mind. |
