Her Mystic Glow

So warm the breast of womanhood
That through the ages has withstood
The pilferage of man’s desire
Lit by her own intrinsic fire

Transparent is her faceless pose
But lustful eyes do not expose
What truly lies behind the face
Where tresses veil its honored place

How falsely flesh can hide the whole
How duly scars protect the soul
Like rocks embedded deep within
The supple layers of the skin

She gave the fruits of passion’s bliss
And hid her pain within a kiss
Her sheltered eye releasing tears
That wet the fringes of her fears

Her sorrow dwells where sorrow should
Behind the breast of womanhood
And he, the master of disgrace
Has never truly seen her face

For he is blind and doesn’t know
Where lies a woman’s mystic glow
And doesn’t truly understand
The way a woman loves a man

And you are wise, and your words as lovely as your spirit, Liz Santos.

Beautiful.

Most men will never, ever so do...
but the ones that may see her through,
do not speak to any other, this,
but instead bow, hold her, and gently, kiss.

You ARE an inspiration!

Liz

You see so clearly into the soul and your own face is

"Lit by her own intrinsic fire"

I miss you!

Oh Liz, how you have so integraded words from the essense of a woman...this was extraordinarily beautiful.  Periodically there are those special ones who touch your life so ever spiritually, and you, my friend are one of those special ones.  God bless you and thank you for this elegant read.

Some do understand, not many, but a few...and they're seldom the ones who think they do.
