standing on a shadow's lace

It Must Be There

perchance there are no words
no language to describe it
or definition to relate to
it must be there
where it is that silence falls
my voice cries inside to be relieved
just as leaves shiver in the wind
and still it goes on, unheard

just some words cut out
from the diary of my heart

1slick_lady, This is a lovely write my friend, you are right, there must be a place, I believe if lies inside of us all, when the need, it might escape in or dreams or nightmares, for us then to be able to hold more in, you sound very much as I.

Hi Helen. Love this. Dang I am reading lots of great poetry this morning. This verse you have gifted me with is one of the best I've read thus far. The language useage speaks to my heart. It is refreshing and makes for a great read. Well done my friend...well done indeed.
