Friends, we are blessed that hurricane Charley did no more damage here than it did~ Our power has now been restored~ THANK GOODNESS ! Those Progress Energy crews sure worked long and hard to get it done~ My family and friends are all safe and sound and we continue to pray for those who lost loved ones~ Thank you all for your prayerful thoughts~ Stepped out in the yard to lens-capture this sky just about half hour ago~ *Huglets* ~*Marge*~ ~*When the heart grieves over what it has lost, the spirit rejoices over what it has left. - Sufi epigram <))>< Email [email protected] |

Dear Marge: So glad that you and all your family are safe. Glad you didn't get the full force of the storm in your area. What you got was bad enough! Love Betty Lou Betty Lou Hebert |

I give a sigh of relief, that you and your family ~ and all our fellow Pip friends (as far as I know) have survived the storming furies of Mother Nature. You have beautifully expressed the calm of the aftermath, with this lovely post, Dear Marge. God bless! EO |

Thank you ALL for your caring replies~ Yesterday I drove a mere 8 miles from our home here, to a little antiquated town named Lake Helen ... the devastation, the majestic 100 + year old oaks downed, the destruction of homes ... sad, so very, very sad~ And this destruction was less than 1 mile from David, Kim, Delaney and Landry's home~ God does know just how grateful we are~ There are still around 100,000+ homes without electricity in the state ... and we count our blessings to have had our power restored in a little less than 36 hours~ Keep those less fortunate in your prayers, please~ *Huglets* ~*Marge*~ ~*When the heart grieves over what it has lost, |
