Bee Sting You’re like a bee, He said with a smile You fly in, sip nectar, Then buzz you’re gone I am? I replied Are you sure that’s me? I thought I’m more A butterfly, flying On gossamer wings Lightly laying my presence Across your soul gently My wings wafting the Warm scent of my Restless soul You’re definitely a bee Soft and small Flitting, ceaselessly flying From heart to heart Never pausing long Yet leaving a trace Some part of you Behind Not a moth? They’re pretty, aren’t they? Pretty, but stupid You’re not a moth I can’t see you being Too blindly stupid to fly Into flames over and again Blundering losing themselves In the search for light When the night is Free and clear of pain You’re a bee But bees sting! I don’t sting, do I? Yes bees’ sting So do you, I’ve seen you Leave your sting In some poor soul So he’ll always remember Your passing Feel you like an ache A wound he’ll wear Until time heals He’ll know you always Remember you until Ice freezes his mind And blood no longer Flows in his heart You’re a bee, he said Its your honey men seek He’s right I’m a bee Marsha Tomorrow is another day I don't know what it holds |

Ouch! I bet your sting hurts. Though it sounds like an enjoyable pain... --------ice ><> |

Heehee I have to say this. If you are a bee and sting I'll slap a little mud on you to ease the pain. Then I'll pull out the ole stinger with a needle. Now back to serious. A very good write. Hugs BonBon |

I like this. A Bee. Interesting comparison. It works well. Susan Happiness isn't something that happens to you, it's created from within you. Joy is a state of mind. |
