In the Scheme of Things I no longer can voice those words myself, although they slide off my fingertips whenever I feel the need to let you know. It becomes harder, though, and the kisses lighter. Never sure why, if it is me or you and if the craziness that use to be, has settled for now. I needed to know, so I wouldn't wonder anymore. It never made a difference then and still doesn't but calmness entered my world for a night. I rested upon a sea of warmth, dreams guarded by thought breezes that held me closer than they have in awhile. Shadows are receding, though my shoulders are still weary but reality is what it is and I am halfway there. In the scheme of words, you are much too silent though your movements are repeated over and over leaving me feeling unattached some days, when the distance is too far. Each night I dip into the memories and linger a bit for a taste of yesterday, remembering the beginnings and wondering what tomorrow will bring... M "Love is not blind - It sees more and not less, but because it sees more, it is willing to see less." |

remembering the beginnings... I've spent a lot of sleepless nights searching the middles for the beginnings of endings, if that makes any sense. Hugs, you. and a sigh too. |

ah..the tile counter that literally kicked my ass? smile. I'm still waiting for the dust from the drywall to settle so I can clean it up for pics! But it does look great somewhere under there...and even better? I'm planning on doing my bed like that. A platform thing with a cracked tile headboard. I figure some nice linens to soften up the look and room for books along the bottom of the plat and...and...grin? See why we never get done, huh? gleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee and *wink* and you have e mail too. |

and little lights...yeah, that's what I want, lights to highlight my books with maybe a nice cherry stained birchwood to match my cabinets, because, well, my bed will be visable from the dining area through the french doors and if we build the aquarium into a privacy sideboard... *chuckle* wink I'll shaddup now...and now folks, back to maureen's poem. (there I go hijacking threads again, sheesh) |

before I retire again...you make me laugh. After 26 years here renovating I can understand the projects never ending, even before another starts. Luckily mine are slowing down... but the outside is in need once again. Catch you later M |

This speaks to me. I can feel the emotion behind the words. I understand. Susan Happiness isn't something that happens to you, it's created from within you. Joy is a state of mind. |
