They Always Blame the Flowers
at least that’s how it seems yet it’s not only they that run my nose in streams when laundering or dish washing or taking out the trash
my nose goes into overdrive until I think I’ll crash it’s chemicals those chemicals we use to clean our lives
you’d think the way they scratch at me I’d also have the hives
and when my kitties use their dirt it’s special from the store the slightly scented cleaning stuff makes my nose run out some more
now granted when I’m pulling weeds or mowing short the grass the dirt, the pollen, spruce tree scents make me sneeze each time I pass
so don’t keep blaming what God made for allergies and such I think it really is much worse encountering what man has touched

Yes, yes! I can barely walk down the laundry soap isle in the grocery store. Unscented is a godsend when you can find it. Well said. Many forget that the chemicals are as potent for allergies, probably more so, than those of nature's making.

It's those nasty perfumes that get me! I try to walk through some shops at the mall and leave in tears... they must think I'm crazy lol
Love the write!

Hey dear lady, it seems you've drawn all of us allergy sufferers out of the corner with this write. New carpeting makes me sneeze. Perfumes make me sneeze. Sniff, I'm allergic to cat hair, hay, dust and mites, and anything made with latex. LOL. But I work at a horse barn filled with hay, cats, and dust, and half of whatI touch in the way of clothing as well as cleaning supplies contains latex. Benadryl, benadryl, cold compresses and aspirin. *sigh* I'm just glad my daughter doesn't seem to have inherited all these allergies.
