It amazes me after all this time here we are together In my heart I know you were meant for me I've loved before in the past I know With no one else though have I felt more free From our secret little jokes to the way you make me laugh To the way I feel when you hold my hand There is a quiet bond between the two of us You always seem to understand We've had our share of uphill climbs I know there will be more on the way Still though I can't help but smile For it's you who brightens my every day I use to want love to be easy Thinking that is what would make me smile When you entered in my life I had to pause and think for a while I'm so glad I let you in though For you've shown me how true love can be I believe that I was meant to be with you And you were meant for me This is just a simple poem My gift though is from my heart I think back to what seems long ago days When you and I first got our start Maybe I am wiser now, I'm not sure Or maybe love taught me along the way I just know it's with you my dear love Is where I want to stay-- There are people who I call my ex lovers Some who may still even be a friend But I know when I'm 88 years old It will be you with me to the end Written for Bonnie...Words can't adequately describe the love and joy she has brought into my life. We've had our differences over time, but in the end it's she who makes me smile, who makes me strive to be a better woman, and who reminds me that sometimes when you least expect it, good things happen, sometimes even great things "When life gives you sorrow, may you experience the spirit of laughter" |

This is just a simple poem My gift though is from my heart I think back to what seems long ago days When you and I first got our start No finer gift than one from a heart as beautiful as your Amy... Hugs, and very well done. |

Bonnie has taught you well....when ya least expect...when everything seems like it's going to hell on a bobsled...seems like something good comes from it, or, comes unexpectedly...the true nature of life...nicely written poem ma'am... |
