I won’t go there no more, no more, and tra, la, la, la, la-la the August moon doth sing from way up there in spirit sky where ghosts and phantoms roam. The words are written, so they say no one can chase a dream away or rock the cradle, oh, just so to still a restless need. And the beautiful isle of no man’s land no longer a paradise floats like a cork on oceans of fear lest the nightingales all unite and fly over the moon like shadows of gloom pulled from the dark side of life. I won’t go there no more, no more, and who will miss me way up high where ghosts and phantoms roam if not the sky, the spirit sky, and home of lovers’ sighs. The words are written, so they say only love can chase a dream away and rock the cradle, oh, just so to still a restless need! |

Helen I'm always touched by your poetry. This one even more so, perhaps because of the rhythm...and the song I felt while reading it...spiritually blessed music you write. |

"I won’t go there no more, no more, and who will miss me way up high where ghosts and phantoms roam if not the sky, the spirit sky, and home of lovers’ sighs." This one, Helen, carried a song to me, despite the sadness I feel in its write. ....jo |
