Hard Put There is pain and then there's pain, sometimes not discernable from one another. Then there is the pane I see through and linger my thoughts, none of which rests against time, a commodity hard to grasp and taken for granted too often. The aching travels, its steadiness pulsating, wounding the morning's rise. Too hard some days, the effect of the days before, being force-fed innuendoes and messaged with judgements harsh-voiced. I can't be ransomed nor redeemed, my qualities innate and my paining extrinsic. If you press me I become de (so soft the inner me, that the bruising holds on) and the injury sustains. I have had enough fill and prefer the dressing to cover the exposed, the vulnerable of me. And saying so much, is an afterthought, knowing perfection exists not, as my ink runs dry and the pain seats me here in the pretense of another write trapped in-between the lines of communication, where only I reside. M "Love is not blind - It sees more and not less, but because it sees more, it is willing to see less." (Will Moss) |

hey sweetie, good morning...this was painful to read...and why I am single, and believe I will be single for the rest of my days, I don't ever want to cause anyone pain or lose ever again...and so, chose to live in solitude, as these feelings you descibe I greatly fear.... But what is good for me, is not for you and I'm not suggesting you should do like me...just thinking out loud and saying this one, really touched a chord... Hugs and smiles sent your way Lee J. |

Maybe once I am single (legally) I will feel as you...but it's what has been instilled in me, brainwashed if you want to call it that, so that you are made to always doubt yourself and all you do. You are so very insightful and I appreciate your responses. M |

Yes M. you are an exceptional lady, part of this very extended family of ours....and when you or another has pain, we often feel it, for we too have walked our miles of dusty roads... Excellent write, expressed better than most ever will. |

Oh, but you say it so well, Maureen. Much appreciated your ponderings and sharing of the pain/pane. ....jo |

Maureen though this hurt so much to read, I also see strength in it. I don't know what divorce or ending a marriage is like, but I know what it feels like to have your heart breaking and to have to start anew...and my heart goes out to you. I wish you the best, and enjoy reading your writing so much!! Take care, Amy "When life gives you sorrow, may you experience the spirit of laughter" |
