Sermons of Yester-years An essay of cohorts Penning years, unlocking doors Sucking ice cream cones of Subliminal mists…yester-years Inhabiting images, recycling ghosts Assumes changing postures, metamorphosis Transcending a sentimental name, the fortress Wherein investments gain From abroad to an American street corner Passages read by habitual voices Out loud…minds climbing out of conventions Divorcing separations, mirroring culture No 2nd guessing, in the premise of life’s expression Favorable parallels adventure into genius Intellectual craftsmanship lifting sequence 1st class accommodations Wellspring of ruddy faces Flowing down wide sea windows, blind face Like a quill shrieks of children echoed Possibilities sagacity, diverse plateaus Life reading the palms of mind How powerfully succession unwinds Fragile, yet, extremely powerful The writer whose name is remembered Quoting generations of music |
