I have a friend whose name is John, Who is a cleaning freak, He vacuums twice a day at least, And deep cleans one a week, To him dust bunnies are a call to arms, Dirt simply can’t exist, A can of Pledge and elbow grease, Not a spot he’s ever missed, He cleans his light bulbs once a month, Light fixtures every day, He’d just as soon be washing clothes, As going out to play, Mr. Clean is John’s one hero, Handi-wipes his constant friend, Toilet bowls his mortal enemy, Their battles never end, Now I often say to my friend John, I wonder at your life, But I do know someday that you’ll make, Some girl a heck of a wife. |
