She is a tour, retracing fifty thousand notes Like the wine bottle Braille of lent Mysteriously pouring fine-looking expressions On those bitter cold nights of obscure Straining against the ropes and tides of living Accompanied by persistent breathing Of peace corps lullabies and instrumental music Modern journalism and languid seawater In sweaters of Victorian kindred hearts A Contessa full moon gypsy girl Curling those deep red rubies of Brazilian rainforests Mediterranean charm with slices of lemon mousse Razor sharp elegance…an owl of travel and tourism Streaming forth like a gazelle Underground perfume, lingering in Sao Paulo Walking out onto the terrace of life Great brute passions with ardor Doming crowds where the rain falls She soars in her running shoes Riveting coinage like the beauty of moving water With a tendency to kick butt Going beyond match, for the poise of Jay Lo’s Selena With her hot mama Latino salsa In pronounced step by step rumbas Thanks a bunch Liz! |

Oh, LeeJ. your words are magical. It's strange to see how we are percieved through other peoples eyes, often so different from how we percieve ourselves. You make me appear to be such an interesting character, and yet I see myself as the opposite even though I enjoy the company of myself. Thank you for visiting. It was a wonderful day. Ans thank you for this wonderful poem. It is beautiful. I am off to Connecticut for 3 days Thank you dear Liz |
