It's not the Usual |

It’s not the usual love sick blues (I passed that stage some years ago) or even once the blue of moon the cause of shadows cast from time’s dividing line. It’s not the usual missing you (I’ve got the t-shirt, maybe two) or even once a gentle breeze the cause of thunder storms in a clear blue sky. It’s not the usual soul distress (I’m dressed up for reality) or even once a love suppressed the cause of aching bones from happenings unknown. It’s not the usual feel of me (I’ve known myself these many years) or even once a want and need the cause of deep despair in my comfort zone. It’s simply not the usual and the unusual isn’t simply a still life photographic shot staring back at me but an assembly line of emotive parts moving to conclusions I simply cannot make. |

Helen, this one reaches beyond the usual, that's for sure. That last verse....oh, I just want to reach on other the ocean and give you a great big hug. Take care of you. .....jo |

Hi Jo and Dixie - Hugs are my favourite things in life - thanks. I am really quite fine - it's just that there's something unusual going on somewhere or other and I'm damned if I know what it is. |
