My 9 year old daughter is a budding poetess. She really wanted to post a poem, so I told her I would put one on for her -- thus, this write is by Miss Hannah Banana Friends Once there was a girl she had hair brown as a brown bear she is very active she has a brother that's a big pain but she gets through she's very strong in her heart she's kind as kind can be and she's my best friend Nikki h.e.t. Happiness isn't something that happens to you, it's created from within you. Joy is a state of mind. |

Hannah, you sure are a sweet banana! You and your friend Nikki sound as though you have lots of fun and are fortunate to have one another! Writing from your personal experiences gives you greater insight into life and the world around you ~ and makes for great poetry! This was a delightful little poem and I'm certain that Nikki would love to have a copy of it! May I suggest to you, Hannaa Banana, that you write all of the poems that you write into a journal.
