"You made me happy"

I wonder who I would of been
If I never met you back then.

I smiled to keep back the tears
held in side for so many years.

When I met you I saw the light
I knew I had chosen my plight
yet realized all I could achieve
All because you made me beleive

After I met you I won the fight
My demons had nothing to bite
Then on I could really smile
Just seeing you made me smile!

But I learned happyness isn't a gift to take
But just a simple choice that I chose to make
