The Scale of Words Words light butterflies on our sense Fly in bright of hues dispense Vibrate chords of inner feel Play the lauds of minds appeal. Touching the lowest low and high The deepest deep the highest lie Shooting arrows to a point The furthest sow defines anoint It registers unique with each A flower on your shoal your beach With mortar of the metaphor It magnifies the evermore And winds of symbols bind the sail Taught the lines to find the whale Where desperation curses age The closing curtains of your stage Light handles on your Christmas tree Like candles light eternity. |
