The soul of the beast Jaws caress unwilling Hold for a single second Of Waiting whole Blood and soul slip down easily becoming one with those gone before Heat rises from the kill roasting all around with hells fire Or heavens ultimate desire Fresh meat The winds cry And all around The innocent die Till the moon has gone And one alone the animal is gone And loves once more ------------------ Pride of place in the human race goes to one without a trace, of subtlety style ego or grace for this position, I wish to say, i would be proud as i am greater than any other face in the crowd |
