The war goes on They march in step The loyal and true Fodder of cannons Future History In living colour these are the memories the mourned They are unaware Of their bravery How they die for us Of sacrifice Are they proud In golden band And silver medals On their chests Are they proud Dieing alone far from home all on their own History dulling the pain remember not agony only sacrifice How may we learn If all we see is gold can we remember when all we get is heroes ------------------ Pride of place in the human race goes to one without a trace, of subtlety style ego or grace for this position, I wish to say, i would be proud as i am greater than any other face in the crowd |

A hero on every corner, but someone inevitably suffers in the calling of every hero...is it worth the price, truly? michael |
