Another betrayl,
Venomous thoughts fill my consciousness,
You're maimed beyond recognition,
In my mind at least.

The shaman comes and smiles at me,
For we alone know the secrets of life,
His wisdom speaks to me and says,
He wants me as is wife.

He understands the bitter truth,
That we are too scared to face,
He understands most everything,
Concerning the human race.

The visions, the nightmares,
The pain in my soul,
He has come at last,
To take control.

I fear him not,
For he knows the true way,
Together we'll go beyond this mortal realm,
Alas I must leave you this day.

I shall be back from time to time,
In body but not in soul or mind,
At last I'll taste victory,
All else will be left behind.
