Purgatorial Incarceration

0 posted 1999-08-31 09:48 PM

The days stretch out,
I've no one to fear.
Hiding alone...
darkness threatens my sanity.
Will I be found?
Overwhelming forces!
Madness encroaches,
like an incurable disease.
tortured
-twisted-
Burning, I plunge.
deepdeepdeeper
No air!
The stench stains my nostrils..
riserise-
I wish to prevail...
sinksink-
I can go no further.
The depths of dementia have taken my soul.
Another casualty of a hard fought battle, against only a
-shadow-

Well done Christopher,
I fight a battle everyday with an enemy I can't see. You sum up exactly how that can feel.
