The air is set in motion Trees speak casually amongst themselves The bird remains still For the fox crouches Clouds form Then disappear over the horizon The fieldmouse shudders For the hawk circles The ground radiates with leftover sun The cricket dare not slip For the fish hungers below Silently watching... |
