I too can hate, I hate what he did to me, I hate another for letting go, I hate wondering what will become of me. I hate violence and anger, I hate when people hurt, Either physically or emotionally, I hate when others are curt. I hate the endless merry go round, That is my daily life, I hate the lonliness, the boredom, I hate being in this strife. I hate cruelty, Be it for man or beast, I hate so many bad things, To say the least. I hate the wounded soul, Crying inside of me, I hate the sobbing and worries, It often shows to me. But I live my life by a philosophy, Not to dwell on this hatred, It can only harm me in the end, Even though I may feel sated. I push the hate into the recesses of my mind, And lock it there in it's own little room, Which I hardly ever visit, It's only darkness and gloom. This is my sacred vow, To not focus on the hate, To focus on loving and happiness, All of which I hope to create. ------------------ The more you praise and celebrate your life, the more there is to celebrate. ~Isis~ (Daughter of Mystery) |
