if i never said i love you,
how would you ever know.
the feelings down inside of me,
the would never ever seem to grow.

being stifled by the worry,
of never breaking through into your heart.
keeps me for the truth i hide,
ever so afraid the we might part.

and it's knowing that i love you,
that keeps you living in my mind.
so i have to say those words again,
till true love that you and i can find.

forgotten words and memories seem to never go away,
pictures that come back to me,
you and i together day to day.

songs of love rewritten, with your name wrote down on every line,
kisses that were empty, loving you is always on my mind.
