I don't remember why I'm here... It's a restful place Some no-name village Stubble on my face What's the time? What's the date? This travelling life I've come to hate My life has become a wasted mess Each day she loves me less and less The pain, it always increases The movement never ceases Self-inflicted you might say Myself with horsewhip I do flay I'm trapped within This box of tin The sound bounces back From speaker stack Four stories high They can't hear my sigh... |

Why do I want to cry "there's no place like home" after reading this poem. If ever I thought I related to a poem, this one would be it. Great piece, D.B. Michael |

I think I would have to agree with Michael....this seems all too familiar to my thoughts as well as myself. GREAT JOB!! ------------------ Deverone "We are cups, constantly and quietly being filled. The trick is, knowing how to tip ourselves over and let the beautiful stuff out". ----Ray Bradbury--- |
